Signing of the Memorandum

The signing of the memorandum marked the concluding section of the forum. The document formalizes the joint development of an online portal aimed at supporting youth training and volunteer engagement.

During the plenary session, Documentolog CEO Baizhan Kanafin emphasized the importance of the partnership with UNICEF in advancing digital solutions for youth-focused initiatives. The new portal will integrate training opportunities, communication tools, digital application submission and volunteer profiles.

Representatives of the Almaty Akimat confirmed their readiness to continue working with UNICEF and its partners on youth policy development, bullying prevention, strengthening mental health services and building a safer digital environment for children and adolescents.

UNICEF Jastary Digital Platform

Documentolog is developing — and will provide ongoing support for — the national digital platform UNICEF Jastary. The platform will serve as a unified online space for young people in Kazakhstan up to the age of 35. It will offer users the ability to:

      • register as UNICEF volunteers and obtain official status;
      • take part in UNICEF training programs and develop in-demand skills, including AI competencies;
      • connect with peers, participate in projects, challenges and youth initiatives.

The platform will be accessible across all regions of Kazakhstan and will be integrated into the Documentolog ecosystem.

Forum Context

The UNICEF Youth Forum 2025 brought together more than 200 participants, including young leaders, representatives of the Akimat, international organizations, businesses and social initiatives.

The forum opened with an exhibition of 13 youth-led projects. Six project teams delivered short pitches on stage, and three initiatives will receive mentoring support.

UNICEF Representative in Kazakhstan, Dr. Rashed Mustafa Sarwar, noted that the forum aims to expand opportunities for young people to engage in social processes:
“This forum is a movement to ensure that young people have the knowledge, the voice and the power to drive change within their communities and beyond.”

According to UNICEF, an additional 9,500 young people joined the organization’s volunteer programs in 2025, and the network of youth hubs expanded to six cities: Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, Aktau, Semey and Kokshetau.

Documentolog expresses its appreciation to UNICEF Kazakhstan and all partners for their trust and collaboration in developing a digital platform for the country’s youth.
