Salidat Kairbekova Health Development Center Migrates Documentolog System to the Cloud

The National Scientific Center for Health Development named after Salidat Kairbekova is one of the leading organizations in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the healthcare sector. The center participates in the development and implementation of innovative technologies and monitors the health status of the population.

Since October 2016, the center has been using the Documentolog EDM for automating document flow. Initially, the system was deployed on the center's own servers in a PaaS model. However, this service model led to several challenges: according to the staff, access to the system was lost several times a year.

The reason for this was outdated server equipment, which caused frequent system crashes. Additionally, the database was constantly overflowing, leading to system unavailability. Staff had to manage the servers themselves and ensure data security. There were several attempts to hack the system. All incidents required prompt responses and significant amounts of time, financial, and human resources.

In December 2021, the company migrated to the Documentolog cloud (SaaS model), where system administration and information security were transferred to Documentolog specialists.

Aslan Nurlanov, system administrator of the center: “The system is very convenient and practical. New functional capabilities are being added, which positively impact the work. In the 4 months following the migration to the cloud, complaints from staff about system crashes ceased. The center's employees also note the convenience of the functionality for submitting requests to Documentolog's technical support. Without leaving their workstations, they can screenshot an error and send a request to us, the system administrators. This allows employees to use their time more efficiently.”

We remind you that previously about 30% of PaaS clients chose the Documentolog cloud.
