Case Study of Implementing Document Management System Documentolog in Education: Karaganda Industrial University

We share another case of implementing the Document Management System Documentolog in an educational organization - Karaganda Industrial University. The university specializes in training technical personnel in metallurgy, mechanical engineering, chemistry, construction, and other related fields of metallurgy.

The university management began selecting an electronic document management system in early 2022. The goal is to automate document flow to enhance the efficiency of internal and external processes of the university. 

In addition to the functionality and performance of the platform, the following were evaluated: the ability to work in the cloud, the availability of a mobile application, and the capability for electronic document exchange with counterparties, including government agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

As a result of the supplier analysis, the Documentolog system was chosen. Initially, the document management system was provided as part of a pilot project to assess the system's capabilities and convenience. Since April 2022, after the successful completion of the pilot, all main processes of general and personnel document management have been automated.
